Co-Founder and husband of Cara. Joel is a native Washingtonian who grew up in Silver Spring. He met Cara in 2013 at a Matzah Ball event in DC. Although they knew of one another at The University of Maryland; Joel fell head over heals and proposed only 6 months into their relationship.

Joel is loved by everyone for his professionalism and calm demeanor, along with quick wit and friendly personality; especially once he gets to know you. He would take the shirt off his back for his friends and family.

Joel has been an entrepreneur building a successful Car Wash in Annapolis Maryland which he sold after 15 great years. During the growth of SAVE The DATE, LLC EVENTS Joel has always been 100% supportive and knew that event planning was what Cara does best. He suggested that she go back to school for Event Planning as he could see she had the bug of event planning in her.

Joel has always been the “books” person along with handling and growing his promotional/favors end of the company. If you need a pen or sweatshirt Joel is the best person to work with in creating your one of a kind piece of swag.

Joel has also successfully franchised and sold a local Tanning Business and now is CEO and Founder of Your Cleaning Connection, a local Residential “boutique” Cleaning service while still assisting Cara in expanding more into the event world.
