“Day Of” Assistance

Many of SAVE The DATE, LLC EVENTS’ limited and unlimited package options include “Day Of” assistance on the date of your event. Your venue and catering manager have one goal; to provide the best space and taste for you to rave about after your event.   Their responsibilities and their obligations are not for your entire event.  Simply put, if there is a fire in the kitchen, the catering manager is not worried about when you are cutting the cake. If there is another event at the venue, your venue planner is expected to cover all events at the venue so they can’t guarantee coverage for you at all times and they generally leave once the party gets started.  Finally, they are not guaranteed to stick around from contract to “Day Of”.   This is where a “Day Of” planner gives you that extra confidence and support to be in control of every aspect of your party.  We are your Team Captain, your Julie McCoy (Love Boat host), your go-to person for everything.  We want you to know that you can book “Day Of” assistance exclusively if that’s the only type of support you’re looking for. In either case, based on which package you chose, clients find it very helpful to know just what “Day Of assistance” means and entails:

  • Short schedule constructed from long schedule (n/i with white and silver package)
  • Confirmation with all vendors via email (including any changes needed) (limited with white and silver package)
  • Supervision of ceremony site setup (if applicable)
  • “Day Of” supervision of event
  • Setup & breakdown of event
  • Vendor check-in, placement & direction
  • Décor setup (as needed; additional time/fee may apply depending on extent of decorations)
  • Theme & activity management for all involved guests
  • Seating confirmation per seating chart
  • Guest services
  • Assistance navigating guests to appropriate areas of the venue for timed activities
  • Timeline management
  • And ironing out any little wrinkle that could interfere with you pulling off the event of a lifetime!


This mid-level DIY option is ideal for the party planner who’s got things very well in hand but would still like a helping hand:

  • 1 Hour-Long Pre-Event Prep Phone Meeting with Senior Planning Director
  • 1 90-Minute Details Meeting with your Junior Day of Director
  • 1 Junior Director and assistant at Your Event for up to 7.5 Hours (assigned 4 weeks prior to event date)
